I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This wedding was one of my absolute favorites. The venue, the couple, the décor, were all so fitting.
I first got to meet Casey & Brandon when I shot their engagement session about 40 minutes outside of Sacramento, at a recreation area in Folsom. I knew right when I met them that the wedding was going to be a blast. They were so silly together, and their humor matched mine perfectly. I photography a lot of weddings, and get to meet so many couples, but the love in their eyes when they look at each other is like nothing I’ve seen before.
When the wedding day finally came we headed over to the venue, The Flower Farm Inn. The whole wedding party was on site getting ready in the quaint little cottages. We found the one with the best light and swept the bride away to get into her gorgeous gown. The photographs we got as a result make me swoon.
The ceremony took place in front of a towering oak tree as the sun was making its descent. The light filtering through the tree was beautiful. However, it was nowhere near as beautiful as seeing Casey tear up and be overcome with emotion. They truly were a match made in heaven.
We spent about an hour after the ceremony moving about The Flower Farm. We took pictures under the golden towering trees and next to beautiful blossoms, among many other places. I honestly could have spent the whole 8 hours taking pictures of just the two of them. (Brides, book here you wont regret it! The beautiful grounds, the sweet staff).
The reception was not a letdown. The ambience and up lighting was the perfect way to add a pop to the space. The tables were all set with floral centerpieces in shades of blue and light pink. The head table was set up with a rustic wooden sign and greenery.
I am so happy that we were able to capture their wedding day! Ladies, if you’re looking for a wedding venue in Sacramento, The Flower Farm is it. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, call me.
